WifeFood uses OpenAI for AI suggestions, recipes, photo checks and voice transcription. If you allow AI, your typed requests, selected photos or recordings, and relevant cooking context (diet, avoided ingredients, pantry, cooking history and household notes, including names or age bands you provide) may be sent to OpenAI. Account passwords and account contact details are not attached. OpenAI does not use API content for training and may retain it for abuse monitoring, normally up to 30 days, with safety and legal exceptions. You can turn AI off in Profile > AI privacy. Manual planning and account controls remain available.
