Ingredients
- chicken750 g
- onion3 no.
- tomato2 no.
- ginger garlic paste2 tbsp
- green chilli3 no.
- red chilli powder2 tsp
- haldi1/2 tsp
- coriander powder1 tbsp
- garam masala1 tsp
- cloves and cinnamon1 tsp
- curry leaves1 sprig
- oil4 tbsp
- coriander (optional)2 tbsp
- salt1.5 tsp
Method
- 1Marinate the chicken with haldi, half the red chilli powder and salt for 15 minutes. · 5m
- 2Heat oil and fry the whole spices, then saute onion and green chilli until deep golden. · 8m
- 3Add ginger garlic paste and curry leaves and cook until the raw smell disappears. · 3m
- 4Add tomato and the remaining spice powders and cook until the oil separates. · 6m
- 5Add the chicken and saute on high until it is well coated and sealed. · 6m
- 6Pour in a cup of water, cover and simmer until the chicken is tender and the gravy thick. · 12m
- 7Sprinkle garam masala and coriander and serve with rice or roti. · 1m
